Tri Delta was founded by women, for women, in 1888 at Boston University when our Founders bravely created a new organization that would “think more of a woman’s inner character than her outward appearance.” Their vision has grown into the dynamic women’s organization we know today.
Today, Tri Delta is a network of nearly 250,000 women, and we are committed to lifelong learning through educational initiatives, transformational programming and relevant personal and professional development.
From supporting Tri Delta’s Foundation—which empowers collegiate and alumnae members through transformational programs, scholarships and emergency financial support—to supporting the life-saving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and local children’s cancer charities, Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.
The Beta Epsilon chapter of Tri Delta was founded at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1969. Since then this chapter has allowed so many women to grow as leaders, provide a sense of community and so much more. In 2018, the Beta Epsilon chapter was proudly recognized as Top Chapter at the annual Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards. Continuing this tradition of excellence, in 2023, Beta Epsilon earned multiple accolades, including Outstanding Service Initiative, Outstanding Philanthropy Campaign, and the prestigious Silver Chapter Award. Adding to our achievements, we were honored by the university as the "Most Spirited Student Organization" for 2023, showcasing our passion and vibrant presence on campus. We also have many active members who are involved on campus from UTA's marching band, Honors College, Terry Scholars, FLOC and UTA Athletics. And addition to working with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital our chapter works at a local level and volunteers for organizations such as Mission Arlington, the Boys and Girls club and many other local volunteering opportunities.
